Outreach Opportunities

For several years St. Mary's has supported the efforts of A-Home which provides creative solutions for the crisis in affordable housing in Westchester County. If you want to learn more about A-Home go to http://www.a-homehousing.org

Bedford Hills Correctional Facility needs hosts and drivers. Hosts give children ages 5-17 a place to spend the night to facilitate visiting his or her mother. It is a minimum commitment. Drivers transport children unable to stay with host families. For more information contact Phyllis Appleton at the Children's Center, 914-241-3100 x4050.

Fessendon House, a faith based residence for recovering addicts and men with other serious health problems, would greatly appreciate toiletry items such as disposable razors, shaving cream, deodorant, toothbrushes & paste, and shampoo. Please drop off donations in the box in the Parish Hall.

Please remember the Interfaith Food Pantry. We need the usual non-perishable food items such as pasta, canned vegetables, cereals, etc. We serve our clients all through the year so your gifts are always agreatly appreciated. Please note expiration dates and be sure packets are unopened. Thanks!
